Finally got of my lazy arse and put the motor back in. And jeez it was a freakin pain in the arse! Thankfully Rocky Hitler was there to help out.

It's GP time again!

It's too bad that I'm not bringin' a bike this time around, but it'll be refreshing to see the world's best do battle. As usual, I'm rooting for Rossifumi even though his leg is broken, I still think he has a chance.... just a chance. ;)

Looks like bumblebee is going to be a yellow Datsun 510 in the new flick! Good for me since it will help the value of the dimes. Too bad it's not a wagon, but it is the same color and lip spoiler. lol I'm now taking offers of $30,000.00 and up :P

Stainless ain't fer sissies..

 

Started building my brake line out of stainless this week. Damn it's a pain in the ass, but the outcome is oh so nice. I used steel line to mock it up before I bent the stainless. So when my car rusts and disintegrates, my brakes will still work!

Put my snazzy Datsport steering box brace on today. Notice the 'custom' logo color match. :P
It's the first piece of shiny new kit to go on and marks the beginning of the assembly process. And yes, that is undercoating that peeled off. Grrrrr. Painter is comin tomorrow to fix that.

Takin' it easy...

Got some work done this weekend. Totally redid my seat mount configuration with the OE brackets and Wedge engineering adapters. Wayyy better than the ghetto setup it came with.

Cafe'd out NSR?

Should I do it? I have been contemplating doing the pseudo streetfighter/cafe treatment to my NSR since I'm going to need new fairings anyway. Just wanna do something kewl, but still a performer. I already have a RS125 tail section I can use, but the upper can be a vintage Ducati piece. Hrrrrmmmmm
